Franconia

Franconia is a grape variety with probable Croatian origins, which then spread to Austria and Germany, where it is known as Blaufränkisch. It was the Austrian domination of our lands that introduced this vine in the late 1800s. It best expresses its characteristics today on alluvial soils.
