Pinot Grigio is a vine of French origin that has been known since Roman times. At the beginning of the 19th century, it spread to Piedmont and then to the rest of northern Italy, finding particularly suitable environmental conditions in Friuli, which favoured its wide diffusion and which highlight its best organoleptic characteristics.
